He may claim to be govt agent, that notwitstanding, you have the right to ask the person effecting the arrest to identify himself. If he does not, you have to raise the alarm as he may be a thief, a kidnapper. Govt officials effecting any arrest need to identify themselves by showing an ID, otherwise if in your house you can kill the person for being a kidnapper, a thief etc. Dont just allow a neighbour to be taken away at the middle of the night by anyone who does not show any ID. Als take the numberplates of the cair car or quickly take a snapshop with your phone
