Next excuse was that she’s the reincarnation of a woman who died 300 years ago. All that nonsense is only to fool us. Why didn’t Gborbu Wulomo train his virgin Daughter to take up the ceremonial role?

  I agree with Halifax overwhelmingly. The exercise is purely traditional not physical as the Chieftaincy Minister has already explained. These are spiritual. The gods choose their own servants and are initiated as such into their respective priesthood rituals processes. The word "marry" was used in context and should not create problems for attention deficiency in the my minds of other professionals, religious sects and tribes.

  Whatever or however you explain it,why in this day and age should a girl child of school going age be married to a deity? What does she do while her age mates are in school studying? It's simply not right and outmoded.
