Doesn't the government know that Ghana is suffering? Next time the government wrongs your family, just pray and don't speak out. One doesn't demonstrate because the government isn't aware that Ghanaians are suffering, one demonstrates to send a loud message to a government with its ears cocked and refusing to address the issues at hand. Strange that you should there today and downplay demonstrations, when market women in the days before independence engaged in demonstrations against the British colonial rulers of the Gold Coast. Those demonstrations sent a loud message to the British, even though the British already were aware that the people of the Gold Coast were yearning for an independent Gold Coast. With your way of thinking, the arrogant vision-less politicians only get emboldened to to not do anything to address the plight of the public, for they know damn well that there are those who are naive enough to resort to prayers instead of speaking out.
