This lady has many of the character traits that every young unmarried man should be looking for in the young single woman they hope to marry someday. Alas many young men today find irresistible the overly painted women with 2 inch false eyelashes and wearing 8 inch high heel shoes and a body like a coke bottle but a head that is as empty as a beer barrel . When a man gets a real woman like this lady , who is supportive, who seems committed to the marriage, who is very focused and always prioritizes things in the right way , who is a go-getter, then her husband has a much better chance of reaching great heights. Her children will be blessed if she teaches them the value of honest hard work and the importance of integrity and Godliness. Her children will rise to call her blessed [Proverbs 31]

One of the main problems we have in Ghana is that a lot of people simply do not work hard enough or persevere in any endeavor they undertake. For many of us the default behavior is to look around and see if there is anybody who can gift us with money or pay our bills . "Borrowing" is just another term for getting money without any intention of ever paying it back.
If there is one lesson that Ghanaians who go abroad quickly learn above all else is that "Money does not grow on trees" and every dollar, Pound or Euro has to be earned through "blood and sweat". AND ANY ATTEMPT TO TAKE A SHORTCUT ROUT TO FINANCIAL SECURITY OR WEALTH INEVITABLY LEADS TO DISASTER. Ghanaian diasporans, whether they live in New York, Toronto, Paris, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Hamburg , Nuuk or London therefore learn to value their hard earned money. Valuing money must not be confused with loving money.
Many Abroad Ghanaians (Diasporans)have earned their money while suffering discrimination, sometimes deprived of sleep and suffered a level of stress that folk in Ghana cannot even begin to imagine as a consequence they quickly learn to be very sensible with their money. It becomes a matter of survival not to waste money, have a monthly a budget and stick within its limits .To summarize ,they LEARN to live frugally and control their expenses.
IN MY OPINION ONE OF THE BIGGEST IF NOT THE BIGGEST BENEFIT OF HAVING LIVED FOR SEVERAL YEARS ABROAD IS THAT IT FORCES YOU TO BECOME DISCIPLINED IF YOU WANT TO SURVIVE AND EVEN THRIVE.IN THAT RESPECT IT CHANGES YOU AND IF YOU RETURN HOME TO GHANA YOU DO SO WITH A VERY DIFFERENT AND BETTER PERSPECTIVEOF LIFE.
