How do you determine it is not enough??? Do you spend that much on your kid in a month? Mind you this is upkeep money, medical bills and other statutory payments are not included. One thing you need to understand, the fact that Davido is a dollar millionaire doesn’t mean any court will rule that he pays huge sums for the upkeep of his child. It doesn’t work that way. The courts are reasonable .

I’ll give you a real example. In Asamoah gyans divorce settlement, the court ordered he pays a total of 25000 cedis as monthly upkeep of his THREE kids. That’s about 1600 dollars . Yes, Gyan earned millions of dollars while playing soccer but the court doesn’t say because of that, he should just throw “huge and unreasonable amounts” into the upkeep of your child.

Secondly , the fact that a man is super rich doesn’t necessarily mean he wants to bring up his children in “extravagance” . I know a very popular and rich real estate guru in Ghana; his fleet of cars are not the regular ones you see in town. He has it all . Yet, his kids are driven In a modest Honda Accord 2014 model to school everyday. He says he chooses to train his kids in modesty and not extravagance. So don’t assume because Davido earns 200,000 dollars to play a single show, he should pay 50000 dollars a month as his child’s upkeep money.
