Madam ,don't insult all men. Countless men are very devoted to their wives. I know of a good few men who remained devoted loyal and faithful to their wives in spite of the wives having crippling illness. In one case the woman had a stroke days after having her last baby .The devoted husband stood by her for years until she passed on .He fed her washed her and changed her clothing and took her out in her wheelchair.
In another case the lady suffered bouts of severe mental illness resulting in frequent hospitalization in the first decade and half of their marriage. Her husband you could say raised their kids single-handed while holding down a very demanding job. They remain married today and the woman eventually responded to new forms of treatment. In both cases the wives were not in a position to fulfill their marital roles but this did not lead to marital infidelity on the part of the husbands.
It really comes down to the kind of man you choose to marry. Yes most men appreciate their lady to be elegant or well groomed. Nobody wants a constantly untidy, disorganized wife but there is more to life than appearances. Looks, fine dresses soon lose their appeal if the woman wearing them is hard to get along with, is quarrelsome, lazy or unfaithful. AT THE END OF THE DAY IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO THE CHARACTER OR PERSONALITY OF THE HUSBAND. This in turn comes down to the woman's choice of a husband. Why did she marry him? Was it primarily for his looks, social "connections", wealth, possessing a coveted foreign passport etc or was it because he had a NOBLE CHARACTER: was honest ,hard-working considerate, loving ,gentle and kind (all godly characteristics)?
Yes there are also countless women remaining devoted to their husbands who have become incapacitated by illness or injury.
