The Roman Catholic Church rather came out of the Word of God. So let's be clear on that. We learn from the Word of God and other relevant and credible historical writings and archaeological evidence.

No where in the Bible are we told to worship, adore or pray to Mary or any departed member of the early Church. Neither do we see any such example by the Apostles and early Believers in the Bible. The Lord himself taught us how to pray - "Our Father, who art in Heaven..." He also talked about asking the Father in my (Jesus') name. He never said said if you ask me through my mother.

The primary source of our knowledge about God and His Kingdom is the Bible, not any particular church. Always go back to the Bible.

First of All, I will advice us not to dwell so much on it, on focus on a bigger picture which is living a Kingdom Life where we have a supreme Spiritual Being as our King.
Yehoshua called Elohim His father, only because He assumed a physical body. Also for us to relate to him as a brother and see Elohim, together as a Father.
There truth is, there is one entity Supreme God of who Yehoshua seated on the right hand of the father represents his Authority.

Therefore Jesus Christ speaks parables to the fresh, and the fresh to ask, seek, knock on the powers of God for wisdom to understand things in the spiritual level. So despite Jesus Christ saying he does things within the powers of his father, it is only those who have faith and believe in him that will have the wisdom to understand that, he actually did all his works within the authorities of himself as the Son with powers equal to the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Whenever a child does something good or bad his father is never praised for his deeds.
That is about our sociality as human beings.
So a child cannot be punished for what his father deed and vice versa.
When it comes to religion, one cannot talk about logic, because religion and logic are bed fellows.
You can cure the sick and not let the infirm condition vanish at once.
It is a fact that the story about Jesus Christ is just like any other fairy tale.
Jesus never existed , thus he was a creation by society, that inverse society created him.
With the fairy Jesus, the church has turned parents and children against each other, families against each other and nations against each other.
The cruelty of Christians dates back to the tim of Richard the Lionheart who went to the Middle East on armed robbery expedition, just as U.S. and her NATO allies are in Iraq, Syria, Libya and Ukraine today on robbery expeditions.
Christianity and Islam are the causes of the problems society is facing today.

There is nothing like Jesus Christ's story...it never existed in the first place. What was shown at the ceremony is telling you the whole concept of religion (Christianity & Islam) is fake and never was real. So please Madam don't waste your time explaining anything those people. If I have power will even show this on a public stage.
