It is extremely foolish to try to re-ignite a friendship with an Ex boyfriend, Ex husband or Ex girlfriend or Ex wife when you are now married to someone else. Do to others as you would have them do to you. Why risk destroying your current relationshop? Even if the present one is less than perfect (and which marriage exists that can ever be described as 100% perfect?) Rather focus on building your current marriage. The amount of effort and time you invest in your marriage will not be wasted especially in the light of your previous experience with "Mr Nasty" (your ex).
My advice cut off all links with this thoroughly untrustworthy fellow. HE WILL SIMPLY REVERT TO HIS OLD MODUS OPERANDI AND BE DISRESPECTFUL, ABUSIVE AND FEEL ENTITLED. Your Ex is clearly one of those narcistic ,self-absorbed and incredibly selfish. They get a perverse thrill chasing married women.
Wise men and women move on.Don't returmn to eat your own vomit. Selfish ,narcistic people always look for someone "better" than their spouse and it is a forever search! Even the most perfect spouse will fall short in some areas when you compare them to other people of the opposite sex that you may meet at work, in your neighbourhood, in church or in public parksetc etc.The grass always looks greener in your neighbour's garden until you take a much closer look (often after you have foolishly deserted your own spouse) and then you will discover that your neighbour's fresh green grass harbours is not all it seemed to be. Rather too late you are likely to discover toxic weeds, noxious insects and even poisonous snakes lurking in the "greener grass". In fact the grass may not be even real and may be one of those amazing artificial "grass" made of green plastic
