Fear is a useful tool for conmen and women, for false prophets and other fraudsters .

This trick works again and again with gullible people who refuse to think or as my mother in-law used to say "who refuse to use their heads". Even intelligent people frequently fall for this gambit.
A key feature of this favorite technique used by fraudsters and scammers is to make the victim feel that they have to act quickly in order to avoid disaster or misfortune.Fraudsters and fake prophets always try to rush you so that you don't have time to think. They also let you know that following their instructions is the only way out for you.Their pronouncements may even be menacing or threatening to you - "Do this or else........."
