  No, Ghanaian music can't transcends borders because Ghanaian musicians like singing in twi or local dialects which the foreigners do understand. Twi or our local languages are not global and so how can music lovers outside Ghana can appreciate . Ghanaian musicians should learn to sing in English or pigin as the Nigerians do

  The person giving advice is also a musician and his still in active music let him apply the advice himself by the way how many CHINESE songs you have on your phone since language means nothing to you when it come to music

  We sing like Nigerians, the whole problem is the pure twi, which doesn't cross bothers. To make it, it has to be hybrid in them of beats, instrumentals, tunes, genre and a mix of local and international languages (optional) that everyone is willing to listen to. Nigerians and south Africans had to evolve and now the are the one on top. You can't deliver the same boring thing all the time, which is meant to be local to hit on the international market.
  You can't be producing the same thing over and over again without evolving bcos people will always evolve. This same principle also applies to business not just music. It is a Demand and supply issue.

  We don't sing like Nigerians, the whole problem is the pure twi, which doesn't cross borders. To make it, it has to be hybrid in terms of beats, instrumentals, tunes, genre and a mix of local and international languages (optional) that everyone is willing to listen to.
