These are the characters that drag the name of true Men of God in the mud. In a sense every believer ,man or woman striving to please the Lord is a Man or Woman of God. We live in spiritually perilous times in which all sorts of characters (in reality wolves in sheep's clothing) prowl amongst the ignorant and disobedient to devour them.
These wolves are thriving because many so-called Ghanaian Christians practice "Lazy Christianity" in which they prefer to run after certain "prophets", "apostles" etc etc who tell them what to do,when to do it and how to do it. These Christians constantly run after "signs and wonders" and these Charlatans oblige them by giving them a "prophetic" word, pray for them, annoint them with oil in exchange for generous gifts and offerings. These so-called Christians have no desire or the discipline to have a daily time of PERSONAL BIBLE STUDY AND PERSONAL TIME OF PRAYER which are absolutely critical for Christian growth and spiritual maturity. Don't get me wrong, there are many many devout men of God who have rightly earned these Godly titles and don't live for their sensual appetites- they don't run after money,fame or engage in sexual intrigue.
