  Sometimes marriage that follows an unplanned pregnancy between to young single adults works well and we all know many such examples of young couples who (with the support of their families) settled down well after some initial tough times. We also know perhaps too many cases where marriage forced on young couples who became unplanned parents resulting in disaster.
  It all boils down to the character and level of maturity of the young folk involved. Mind you becoming a parent will often force many young folk to mature very quickly. It also makes a huge difference whether or not a young couple saddled with an unplanned pregnancy get great emotional and material support from family and friends.
  The worst thing that can happen to such a couple is for them to be ostracized and treated as outcasts by the very people who should be offering support. THIS IS WHERE CHURCHES CAN PLAY A VERY MEANINGFUL AND POWERFUL ROLE WHEN CHALLENGES OF THIS NATURE ARISE.I have seen young couples get great support from their pastors, church mothers, church elders, congregation members and go on to achieve great things in life.
