Soon after Nana Akufo-Addo became president a nephew of John Mahama who was then in the military enforcing ban on galamsey activities was lynched by some NPP executives who were involved in galamsey.
Yes John Mahama did a lot to stop galamsey by sending the military to where it was taking place to stop it.
John Mahama and the Mahama family paid dearly for their son doing all possible to stop galamsey.
NPP paid John Mahama for doing all to stop galamsey by lynching his nephew Major Maxwell Mahama.
Afia Schwarzenegger might have wittingly forgotten that Major Maxwell Mahama was lynched for preventing galamsey activities in some parts of the Western Region.
