False teachings like Christmas, Sunday worship, the cross,the rosary,Easter, etc. All these are demonic. The nation has no business in building a cathedral because we don't have one faith of belief. He can go and build church of akufo addo.

@Johhnywas, you are wrong. He made a personal vow to God when he wasn't President that he'll build a Cathedral when he won the election. I think the musician/preacher is making some sense.

God is a mystery, just like this wonderful world, just like life, just like the air that we breathe. God is not in a book. Organized religion is man-made. No human knows when or how the world began. Religions may teach some lies about the Garden of Eden , but even anthropologists whose science is somewhat reliable, have claimed that the earliest humans were in Africa, If so, how did the Garden of Eden tale come about. Yet as reliable as anthropology is, anthropological findings keeping changing over times as new discoveries are made, and some of these findings are usually questionable. Having followed these religious teachings for thousands of years, it has become difficult for followers of these teachings to change course. Religious leaders will spew their religious lies and deceptions, and some cunning politicians like Akufo-Addo will take undue advantage of the gullibility of people and make some outlandish claims such as making a pact with God to build a national cathedral, for he knows damn well that his lie will be embraced religious bodies. No political leader who believes in God will spend millions of dollars on a national cathedral while many of his citizens struggle to have clean drinking water; or while many elementary school kids in Ghana continue to school under trees or in seriously unsafe classrooms. A politician in Ghana is naive to think he or she can blindly imitate the European countries and their church buildings, for those European nations did not put large and ornate houses of worship while neglecting to spend on programs that their citizens need very badly.
