  Yes it's possible that America can grant him green card because he is famous, and not only America does that many countries also do as well, especially people in sports so try to be famous, all human laws can be changed.

  Pope Skinny, either won the Visa Lottery or was "married" to a citizen of USA. And that "marriage" does not come cheap.
  He is lying here.
  Many citizens of USA are homeless living on the streets so, he is advised to cool and tone it down a little bit.
  USA is no where near paradise.

  He's not lying, he simply acting like a village idiot. Being an artist from Ghana, he can qualify for residency in the USA if he can prove that he's accomplished in his field back in Ghana. He doesn't have to win the visa lot ...

  He's not lying, he simply acting like a village idiot. Being an artist from Ghana, he can qualify for residency in the USA if he can prove that he's accomplished in his field back in Ghana. He doesn't have to win the visa lottery or get married. He very likely obtained his residency through being an accomplished artist back in his homeland as required by the immigration act. And he can show proof of his accomplishments by offering news clippings and statements from officials in the recording industry in Ghana as well as statements from relevant Ghana government agency officials.

  The untold and or open-secret is that the United States of America and her citizens generally do not respect, especially, those of us coming from Africa.
  For example, no matter where comes from with his/her educational proofs in hand, one must still meet the "American Standards" of doing almost everything.
  A medical doctor, lawyer, architect, painter, electrician, driver, teacher, pharmacist, Accountant, Auditor, Cook or Chef, etcetera, etcetera, must still go back to school to learn to do things "The American Way" and to meet the American Standards.
  How famous and popular and wealthy of this Pope Skinny compared to the ones they have in the US of A?
