  The young lady should see this as a wonderful opportunity to take a step back and re-examine the direction of her life, her own values and beliefs because these are the things which shape our own character and greatly influence the most important choices we make in life including marriage, career ,choice of friends etc etc.
  If our own values are sorted out then we will be well placed to make the right choices and greatly reduce the risks of making terrible mistakes that could result in unhappiness later in life.
  When we have solid godly values we are likely to look for a life mate who shares the same values as ourselves. A shared strong belief in the importance of reverencing the Lord of Heaven and living by His commands is always a good and reliable start and a very firm foundation to build a marriage on. Let's not confuse this with regular attendance to church, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday school, even being an eloquent preacher. We must never confuse natural gifts and talents with character. However our natural gifts and talents will always be greatly enhanced by our good character.
  So let's first focus on getting our relationship with our maker on the right track. Have we given the Lord first place in our life? I ask this because it is entirely possible to enjoy going to church, singing and even performing an important function in Church and still not know the Lord. Such a person once they leave Church after Sunday service revert to their non Christian mode from Monday to Friday and go back to doing and living anyhow. They cheat lie, take or give bribes, dodge work, are sloppy at work, arrive late at work, leave work early, flirt with others who are not their spouse, steal from their employers, are lazy, illtreat family members ,friends or others ,are covetous, are gossips and backbiters and bad tempered. Basically they are Sunday "Christians" and on Sunday they put on their best outfit and are there on time and copiously spout their alleluias and Nyame Adoms liberally. Isaiah Chapter 58 has a lot to say about that kind of religious behavior.
  So our young lady and others in the same position as her ,irrespective of their age should see these painful occasions as God given opportunities to reset their lives and realign their lives with their loving maker who wants to have a personal relation with them. God will often use painful shocks in our life to get our attention and to help us to reprioritize.

  Whenever a woman gives herself freely to a man, she potrays herself as cheap. The man walked away because there is no commitment. Don't allow men to use you, and discard you. Make yourself self the prize!
