The main issue here is unfair treatment, some of us the floating voters look at lots of factors before we vote and trust me this things matters. I won’t vote for a party because my favorite musician has endorsed them, rather I won’t vote for a party because of unfair treatment of people and stupidity on behalf of the party.And this is a clear case of unfair treatment. I remember before the election trouble Carlos brought out a video of Stonebwoy in NDC t-shirt tagging him NDC and even Mahama using his songs on campaign platforms. Knowing Stonebwoy, if he didn’t want it he could have said no political party should use his songs but he kept mute.

And here is my argument- the electorate already has more and sophisticated information about the contestants to inform their voting decisions. So, what new information is the celebrity advancing that their endorsed candidates?? The voting public rather see celebrities endorsing candidates as opportunistic and greedy who grab the opportunity to cash in.
