  What he is saying is true but many people including gospel artists leave ministries because of the excessively controlling atmosphere that prevails in some of these organizations. Some are run by control freaks who are sometimes afraid of an artiste stealing the limelight .Remember the story of King Saul and David when the latter returned from a victorious war against the Philistines and was accorded greater praise than king Saul- all hell broke loose for David and he eventually had to flee from a jealous Saul who felt very threatened by David.
