It is completely normal to feel the way you do, and it is right for you to react that way, it hurts to hear it from her sister and not from her, this is your wife until the divorce is finalized and you probably know her better than others do including your parents. I am sure she is hurting as well for not been able to tell you the truth, but she should at least accept her fault and work on things, have a vivid chat with her to let her know how you feel instead of shutting her out and you will be free. Do not take her back as your heart ache will heal with time. If the child's biological father is dead or locked up in prison, you can make a conscious decision to continue raising him as yours. The poor boy is innocent in all this. Make sure to legally adopt him first should you decide to raise him so it does not back fire in you.

Also encourage the boy to spend more time with his Dad. With your wife, taking her back will be based on the following: She has to cease and desist from Alcohol. 2. Minimize the numbe of friends and parties she attends.

But pls reconsider and forgive her, it won't take anything from you. Again, if care is not taken you will do the same just to punish her but, in the process, you'll escalate the matter. I know some1 who acquired a disease for retaliating for what her partner did to her. Your sister-in-law had no business doing what she did. She should've allowed your wife to do that herself.
