  People are far more likely to die from complications caused by longstanding UNTREATED HIGH BLOOD SUGAR (AKA DIABETES). In other words longstanding untreated or poorly managed diabetes can result in eventual death from a variety of complications that this disease leads to. It is very rare for people to die from LOW BLOOD SUGAR unless they were fasting for a very very long time,starving over a long period of time or in some way unable to take in food or digest food.Did she have an eating disorder such as Anorexia Nervosa or Bulimia? There is something not right about this story.
