How do you ask questions about artistes or songs not stated in the syllabus and with a song in twi, that not everyone understands or studies. At least attach the lyrics and the english translation to give all students a fair ...

Syllabus is just a guide and always a theory based.... we have what is called critical thinking....
Questions can be set outside the Syllabus or the course outline but, the student is allowed to apply content of the outlin ...

What of the student in a Non-Twi speaking area who doesn't understand Twi? How do you expect such a student to understand the song and be able to answer this question?
This is an achievement test...It should follow what is taught!
The question could have been framed in another way without mentioning the name of any musician. WAEC must be circumspect in setting up the questions.
Were the students made to analyse the song in class? The question is a bad one and should have given an excerpt translated in English to meet the different backgrounds of the learners.
