Face the fact: your wife & your stepdaughter used you. They wanted resources from you so that when they're satisfied, they'll put you aside. Also, stop defending your stepdaughter. She's 27 years old. She's not a kid. She decided to do what she did because that's the decision she has decided to make.

You are the one doing everything as her father but when it comes to issue of marriage, it is her biological father who has to take her bride price and also give his blessing to the marriage. This is the doing of God and I think customs and traditions also allow it to be like this. I urge you to respect the view of your wife in love with regard to this issue. This does not mean that you have been disrespected and I believe you have a specific role to play in this marriage. Please do not boycott the marriage of your stepdaughter. Do not allow this to strain your good relationship with your wife. Cherish and love your wife. Never leave her because of this.
God being so good to you, your own daughter is of age and soon it will be your turn to take her bride price and also have the opportunity to give your blessing. Please hold your peace and enjoy the process.

A father is one that is truly father in all things. Looks after their children even with the little they have. Teaches them etc.

From what is going on this is not a matter of tradition. When did you see any women ask of their ex who is a drug addict or drunkard to walk their daughters when they are getting married.

If this was with a good intention, the biological father will come to the girls father who looked after her and thank him, ask for forgiveness for not doing his part as a father.

Between the 2 fathers who's curse do you think will work in case they pronounce anything.

Ghanaians use tradition wrongly when it comes to certain things.

The girl and the mother will not be respected if they don't allow the father who natured the girl to walk her down.
