  What is it about a national event being organized in the US? It doesn't make sense. These are our artistes. Can't we tell Trump that we can do without the US? Do Ghanaians have to fly over there to enjoy watching our talents on display? No Western expo will ever be set up anywhere in Africa. Akwasidae was celebrated in London. That was a festival representing the rich Ashanti and Ghanaian culture. If obroni wants to watch, they should fly down to show they are interested. Don't we deserve what is ours?!!

  I was equally surprised ooo. Why use the name Ghana if it's being held in the USA? So if our president is to hand over an award, he has to fly to the US with his entire entourage for that occasion? We are sick in the head!!

  My supervisor at my workplace in London asked me as an Ashanti to explain why our king decided to celebrate the Akwasidae in the UK. I couldn't find any reasonable explanation. He said why move the significance of a whole kingdom abroad and that do we understand what such a festival is actually about? I felt so embarrassed!!
