Yes, indeed. We Africans just keep compounding our problems with senseless cultural claims packaged in the form of African Ignorance (AI). It's one thing to proudly celebrate our African cultural practices, but it makes no sense to hang on to certain antiquated deceptions of the past that were meant to mislead people and cause them to be blindly loyal to chiefs. Having said all that, I must confess I'm possessed by the spirit of Kwame Tua, the notorious snatcher of royal wives.
