  Name one 3rd World Country that had Economic Transformation through Tourism. Bring out country names and I doubt if the economies of Namibia, Kenya, Cuba or Sri Lanka would qualify. The Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Tanzania and even Greece are all poor because of over dependence on Tourism. The United States, Canada, France, Spain, UK, China, Japan are the leading tourist destinations. If you don’t build your economy and have adequate infrastructure, security in place, forget about tourism. It’s a fool’s short cut.
