  Another interesting account of the inner workings of a Polygamous household is seen in the story of story of Hannah and Peninnah, the two wives of Elkanah (see 1 Samuel Chapter 1:2-20 ).These are just but two examples of Polygamous Households that the Bible gives as a front seat view of.
  The tragic story of King David's polygamous household involving Murder, Incest and Political Revolt as a result of deadly sibling rivalry are laid bare in the Old Testament.
  THESE STORIES ILLUSTRATE ANYTHING BUT "STABILITY"

And don't your bible also teach that the purpose of man and woman is to procreate? If so, how were "Adam and Eve" supposed to procreate without engaging in sex?
