@Paapa Ashun. Your understanding is your problem. Jesus was initially (and has always been) God. Then he ALSO came in the form of man. If an angel or other spirit beings can appear in human forms (such as a poor old beggar) then it should not be impossible for God himself to come in human form.

So John 3:16 was never a scam. "For God so loved the world that he SENT His only begotten Son..." The phrases "he sent" and "His.... son" clearly implies that Jesus was pre-existing before he became man through Mary. And if God is as powerful and awesome as we generally believe he is, then it shouldn't be difficult for him to manifest in any form. Unless we want to limit the power and capabilities of God to same level as those of humans.

"Ask, and you will receive". "Get down on your knees and pray and there will be manna falling from heaven". "Remember to tithe, even if you're struggling financially, and you will be blessed ten-fold". And never ask your quack pastor why prayers never seem to answered, for he'll tell you that your belief isn't strong. All one has to do is look in a dictionary, and nowhere in any dictionary is the word prayer defined as a cure for poverty.
