Daddy Lumba probably felt overwhelmed by the sheer size and complexity the difficulties he had allowed to develop, so like most people he chose the path of least resistance by doing nothing about the ever-worsening tangled spiderweb of problems. It seems that he simply chose to live for the moment and likely pushed these mounting worries out of his mind.
For sure he was a very talented musician and artiste but there is much more to life than career excellence. He clearly neglected vital aspects of his life and relationships.
THIS SHOULD SERVE AS A WARNING TO THOSE TEMPTED TO GO THE ROUTE OF THE SO-CALLED “CAREFREE LIFESTYLE" ESPECIALLY WHEN RELATING TO THE OPPOSITE SEX. The foolish women who fell for the musician’s charm and ended up having his children must be kicking themselves now for their bad judgement. The problems that arise from such careless sexual liaisons can have far reaching consequences that endure long after the demise of those who pursue that kind of lifestyle.
The mountain of chaos left by the great musician seems to get ever bigger and bigger almost by the day and only the good God knows how this is all going to end. This should have been a time of reflection about a LIFE WELL LIVED. All so very depressing to think about.

A complicated case of this nature calls for the parties and their respective layers to work quietly behind the scenes to carve out a compromise for both sides. Each lady has children by the decedent, and that should be taken into consideration by the lawyers. It's too late to undo what errors may have been made on the marriage road trip, but a meaningful compromise agreement would be the best solution to end this matter without inflicting unnecessary pain the parties and their children.

A final wish isn't what counts upon one's death. The courts are the ones that will determine the rights of the surviving spouses if those wives were all from customary marriages. As in the case of Serwaa and Broni, it's the court that will determine who is the legal surviving spouse since the issue involves one being customarily married to Lumba while he was still legally married to Serwaa in a civil marriage. A final wish can't disentangle a complicated legal mesh, only the court can. Final wishes to spouses will only work if there were no existing legal complications regarding the marriages at the time of a husband's death.
