I'd bet my last Pesewa women in the Church must have nothing to do with her ordeal. Unbeknownst to the lady the men, including the pastor, must have been salivating on her with the intention of passing over her. Since they failed before her decision to marry, the disappointment must be overbearing: the price of missing the honeypot.

If women stop going to Church in Ghana, it will be the end of the Church since most of the men also go there for fishing. Women would do every nonsense of the pastor's prescription and believe it is God-ordained.
I left the Church at 13 years old, a few weeks after Confirmation as a member. I was already tired of the hypocrisy going on and other bad stuff a child like me could put up with.

I am a member of the Church of Pentecost from Sunday School. I know how strict they are therefore all the invites sent to me to become a Deacon, then an Elder never came to fruition. I have consistently rejected it.

I tried one of these Charismatic churches but did not like their ways which in my view were Ungodly so i left and came back to the Church of Pentecost. This is because in all my imperfections and Ungodliness, i feel the Church of Pentecost checks me more.

She did not tell us the reason why but trust me Church of Pentecost would have been harsher. I believe the churches codes were against the man she wanted the church to bless.

You cannot be a member of a golf club and claim that you want football played there.

The selective justice is too much. The church as a matter of fact the pastor has an office, if you don’t need this two in your church you can call them and let them know, why the psychological trauma you subject them to.

I have already written that i have no single intention to become a Deacon or Elder in my local Church of Pentecost. Of course because they indulge in some nonsense which chocks me. For instance, when all the children go to university, members in the areas these kids are, visit only the children of pastors and the rich in the church. They are very selective on those they communicate and provide assistance with prayers. Its sad.

I did not mention a few things in my earlier post. We live in an European country for over 2 decades and God blessed me with the fortitude and grace to study to a very high level. In short, i am doing very well. This is the reason why they are soo interested in pulling me into becoming an Elder. I cannot count the number of times they have sent emissaries to me to convince me to be part of them and i have refused. Not only me. They are on the backs of other high level professionals also to become Elders.

This is the problem with the church in general.

With this lady, she was admonished before entering into the marriage. We will have to decide if the church did the right thing or not. Those are the churches rules and she breached them. With Mahama's daughter, they church will be wrong if they do not apply the same to her if she falters. I personally know a Pastor in my church whose son impregnated a woman he was not married to. He stepped back from the church because with Church of Pentecost, they would have called him to the front.

This behaviour is quite common in a lot of organisations whether religious or not. My friend's wife worked for a prestigious company in a certain European city. When she announced that she would be tending in her resignation in 6 months’ time because she was getting married and relocating to another country she came under incredible pressure from her director and managers. She was their ace employee for 5 straight years because of her business acumen and her area of professional interest. She was flagged up as the most productive employee of her company ever! She was earning them a few tens of thousands of Euros EACH month for years. The company directors first tried bribery and flattery. She was promised an immediate pay rise of 10% then this was increased to 25% + “other benefits" but she was unmoved. Her superiors and managers tried different tactics. They started to find fault, they criticised her for trivial things, she needed to “smarten up” wear makeup etc. They even made veiled threats and hinted that they might find it difficult to give her a reference for her next job if she moved on. One female manager even criticised her for her choice of husband! The pressure on her got so bad that she was forced to take sick leave during her final fortnight at work because of stress caused by their growing hostility. She did not get a send-off party. All she got was a short formal letter wishing her “all the best for the future”. Her employers declined to award her some of the bonuses which she would normally be expected to get at the end of more than a decade of being an extremely productive employee.
My friend's wife had the last laugh though. A few years later that company went bust during the Covid Pandemic and were taken over by another company who promptly made all her former managers and directors redundant. A few years after being married she teamed up with her husband, and she is today helping him run a very successful business. She now works from home which allows her to mind their children and arrange her work around the children’s school time and also manage household chores. Here is the icing on the cake- she now earns at least three times what she earned in that highly competitive and very pressured environment at her previous place of work.

I was doing the thing perfectly for the church and everything was moving smoothly. They formed alliance and started to incite against me with all lies and allegations. They did all strategies to stop me and I became frustrated and stopped. Later on they wanted me to do the exact thing they didn’t support and opposed. I also realized I can’t do it again because of time. They asked everyone in the church not to talk to me. Come and see disrespect and all other nonsense. But God knows better. So leave it to him. Yet she chooses to speak negatively about it. Why doesn’t she share the good things the church has done for her? It’s disappointing. If she feels the church didn’t support her in a particular instance, she should explain why instead of making sweeping accusations.

Those of u who're spiritually discerning,go back and study the Bible very closely. Are u aware people fell and died instantly for telling lies?
In this 'human right church age' people think they can probably go in there unrepentantly and do whatever pleases them. This has nothing to do with your service to the church as if you're doing God a favor. Humble yourself and let God work on your soul for home going.
We dwell too much in the flesh, that's our problem.

This big men invite you to funerals and pure alcohol is flowing and you don’t even have the voice to rebuke them… Or you say God only send you guys to the poor.

All the slay queens that sleep with about 30 men to buy wigs and stuffs have not being called before the church to be embarrassed let alone those who decided to flee lust and do the right thing.
