  If you are above 30 years you should get your BP checked, And especially if you have a family history (e.g. your father or mother or sibling had or has HYPERTENSION [High Blood Pressure] ) and are above the age of 40 years YOU MUST GET YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKED AT LEAST EVERY 6 MONTHS. Even a constant slight increase in your blood pressure (BP) can lead to a stroke or kidney disease or kidney failure. WHY ALLOW YOURSELF TO DIE PREMATURELY FROM A CONDITION WHICH IS 100% TREATABLE?
  A word of warning to those fellow Ghanaians who think that they can ignore High Blood pressure because they have faith- believe me countless Ghanaians have ended up with very serious kidney disease for adopting that kind of attitude. I can't understand these people. They sleep under a mosquito net or in a mosquito proof room because they don't want to get malaria, they lock their front gate before they go to bed at night because they don’t want to be burgled yet they refuse to take simple health measures that will prevent them developing life-shortening illness. If they have so much faith, why don't they leave their front door open? Why don't they sleep with their windows wide open at night? DO YOU SEE WHAT I MEAN.
  Let us use the heads God Almighty has given us.
