  Massa, take PRACTICAL STEPS to protect your marriage and your sanity. In view of your past negative experiences and TOXIC INPUT from your extended family. It seems to me that some of your extended family and possibly even some of your friends are draining or depleting you emotionally and I suspect also financially.
  1.Have you considered relocating away from them? Sometimes physical separation is the best way to minimise contact with unsavoury individuals.
  2.You may have to take some drastic steps including denying some relatives and friends access to your home or inner circle. Take a closer look at who is in your INNER CIRCLE. Often it is some of these so-called "inner circle" folk who badmouth you, gossip about you and spread rumours about you behind your back. Never complain about your wife to these people. Some relatives and friends do this out of jealousy, envy, resentment and covetousness especially if you decline meeting their demands.
  BE CAREFIUL WHO HAS YOUR EAR AND BE CAREFUL OF WHO YOU CONFIDE IN (INCLUDING BLOOD RELATIVES).
  3.SOCIAL MEDIA IS A DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD. No matter how tempting it is avoid discussing or commenting about your personal or private affairs via online platforms. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. This is because you will get far more negative reactions than positive ones simply because human beings love bad news, gossip and title tattle far more than they like meaningful or positive news. This advice is a very hard one for those mostly below the age of 45 years who tend to be hooked on the internet particularly if they already have a very high public profile.
  4. Focus on building your relationship with your wife. This means being more considerate, more appreciative of her and being prepared to put the TIME, EFFORT AND HARD WORK REQUIRED TO NOT ONLY MAKE A MARRIAGE WORK BUT TO EVENTUALLY TURN IT INTO A VERY ENJOYABLE AND REWARDING EXPERIENCE. PEACE AND CONTENTMENT AS YOU GET OLDER BECOMES MORE AND MORE PRECIOUS. WORKING ON YOUR MARRIAGE IN SPITE OF YOUR IMPERFECTIONS PAYS IN PURE GOLD BELIEVE ME.
  5.Keep your marriage AN EXCLUSIVE RELATIONSHIP. In other words, there must never be any others allowed to distract you from your marriage whether it be emotionally or physically. Your marriage is a UNION between two people that has no room for relatives, friends or romantic attachments. AND ABOVE ALL ELSE MAKE GOD THE CENTRE OF YOUR LIFE AND RELATIONSHIP, SEEK HIM AND WATCH HIM OVER TIME TRANSFORM YOUR MARRIAGE, YOUR OTHER RELATIONSHIPS AND EVEN YOUR BUSINESSES AS YOU MAKE THE HOLY SCRIPTURES YOUR GUIDE.
