Ghanaians are getting tired of today this and tomorrow that of Lumba`s funeral.I thought people with such strange and eccentric mindset do not exist anymore.
Which world does he live in? At his age, he should have known better. It is never done in any Akan tradition to officially inform any chief at all anything prior to the event. Not even a village chief let alone the Ashanti King. It is disrespectful. I was wondering why he has not being reprimanded till now. Abusuapanyin's authority ends after the burial, DL's properties would be shared or administered by law either by his will or PNDC Law 111, so what is all this fuss about. Abusuapanyin's only crime is not sacking Odo Broni from the house and locking up the house, an inherently affront both legally and traditionally. An action DL's sister wanted him to do. The one who took the matter to court and could not show her certificate as well as her associates (Team Legal Wives) should not be allowed to bully everyone into submission. Noise/intimidation should not give way to reason. I agree that "Abusuapanyinship"is not dictatorship, but people should not be encouraged to undermine his authority aided by noisy associates with parochial and vested interests. The title Abusuapanyin or Abusuabaatan is not given to just anyone, selection is based on proper family consultations, agreements and democracy (by voting), the chiefs should not allow people with vested interest to undermine a whole abusuapanyin's authority, it should be the other way round of enforcing and asserting the authority of the Abusuapanyin. The nonsense coming out of DL's death and burial is annoying. The autopsy and all other issues are all excuses bullshit.

The local corrupt judge had proved that the case involving the foreign embassy was out of her box and far beyond her that is why am referring to her as " Local judge"The whole thing is her primitive interpretation of the Common Law adopted from the colonial master but does not understand it. Tell me which court rejects an official document from an Embassy or Mission in the country? It is disgusting and shameful to suggest that the certified marriage certificate from Germany should have been given to Ghana Embassy to certify it. No wonder the Whites look down upon us. You dont expect that from a learned Judge. The German Embassy staffs have seen the Marriage certificate before neither can they speak the german language. After my over 40 years living in Germany, I have never heard or read from anywhere that the German Authorities who are known to be extremely strict have rejected any documents from Ghana Embassy Berlin or any foreign Embassies here in Germany. The embassies represent the countries.From my experience, once you submit any letter from the embassy,they accept it. The least they could do would be to verify it You can not just reject an official letter or document without making an effort to verify it. It is a slap across the face of the Common Law. If we dont understand it, then we should adopt different system. We are unequivocally not practising the common law we know in the western countries.It is primitive and disgusting.

Perjury is a serious crime, typically classified as a felony, that undermines the justice system and carries significant penalties, including large fines and multi-year prison sentences. Common law practising in Africa is a joke.

You sue someone in court premised on a certificate you claim to have. Such evidence(certificate) has a stated procedure based on Ghana Courts Civil Procedure and legal precedents to be presented/submitted. You fail woefully to do it, and you want the Judge to help you win your case by going herself to the German Embassy to verify and authenticate your so-called certificate. Are you conversant with the case involving the Jomoro MP? Oh, I see. it is the German Embassy so all our Court Civil Procedures and Legal Precedents should be thrown away. They need amendments. Even the colonial master who has introduced them to us has stopped using them. There is no court in any Western or civilized countries which would reject any official letter from the foreign missions. They would never reject an official letter from the Ghana Embassy or any foreign missions.

Authenticity/Verification: If a mission's letter seems forged or suspect, the court or relevant ministry can demand proof from the issuing authority according to Vienna Convention Missions. Diplomatic immunity is strong for people, official letters (especially those denying rights or services). Send it to the Local corrupt Judge.
