    Absolutely correct. I wonder how this nonsense has been going on in our country. No accountability. Just go dirty the public area, collect your event money and go chop. Leave the cleaning & tidying that area for someone else ...

    Just as hotels take security deposit against damages. Before a permit is issued deposit should be required from event organizers. Deposit is returned after inspection and event ground is cleaned.

    Agreed. Event organizers require a permit from the city or district govt. They must pay a deposit n sign to restore the venue to its former state prior to the event. You don't see trash bins on the streets of accra. Those lar ...

    What is the meaning of " I believe it will end soon" .
    When is soon as December watch night is here with us and likely these venues will be used.

    I wonder if there is a contract between the organizers and the local government but if there's, organizers should deposit cleaning up and damage fees after the event.

    Just let them pay up a deposit of up to two times the cost to clean up by the renter of the event center. If they clean up to your satisfaction, then you return the deposit to them or use as much of the money to do the cleanu ...
