  You're right that the useless Police should rather be arresting corrupt thieving politicians and their crooked cronies. However, Ebo Noah needs no help, for he has not broken any law. Nor should any person be arrested merely for making an untrue statement, as long as that statement was never made under oath. If the Police really care about the truth, then they would have arrested the many quack prophets and quack pastors running loose in Ghana and spreading religious deceptions and demented lies. But even those quack pastors and quack prophets do not deserve to be arrested, for there are no laws in Ghana that prohibit any person from making unfounded religious claims. This arrest is nothing but an abuse of power and selective persecution. Ghanaians should be worried whenever the authorities misapply the laws to suit their whims. What is Ghana up to, an intolerant Sharia state prosecutes anything it deems to be blasphemous?

The only reason why the Police have arrested him is because of an outcry by a segment of Ghana's population that believes the guy is blasphemous with his ark claims. And since when has blasphemy been deemed a crime under the laws of Ghana?

Except from a comedian like him which other man of God dresses in such odd fashion? See how he crowned the joke on an entertainment platform to add more laughter. I know the police may be laughing at his responses as they interrogate him. The National Chief Iman is still alive, so is Abedi Pele and other prominent people prophesized to die years ago. All one need to say is 'Allah/God is sufficient for me as a Protector and the best disposer of my affairs' and then go about with your work when a charlatan like them illy prophesied about you or a close relation. Remember Abedi's family response about such a joke some years ago. That as Muslims they don't doubt death and do not fear it because every soul shall taste it. The National Chief Imam got angry with muslim youth who were about to attack Owusu Bempa.They are tricksters looking for the vulnerable to devour. The best way to end it is to sanction journalist who spread such jokes, that may however deny us some amusements though.

  Complete waste of resources arresting a circus prophet clown who has not broken any law. What has he done that is different from the other Ghana quack prophets who have been spitting daily laughable prophecies? Set him free so that he can complete building his ark, and ark that will carry a few good Ghanaians to safety when the Accra Sea finally swallows the entire Ghana on December 25, 2026.

We the Arkians will complete building that ark and getting it ready to sail off the shores of Ghana on December 24, 2026. As commanded by God, the ark shall carry one man, one woman, and one child each from each of the regions in Ghana, along with a pet tiger. God is sick and tired with Ghana being mired in corruption and not willing to change its ways, hence Ghana will be swallowed by the Accra sea on December 25, 2026, just a day after the ark has left the shores of Ghana to a safe location far from the Ghana, to start a new Ghana elsewhere with the a few Ghanaians that have no stains of corruption in their bones.   Any reason then why the Ghana Police haven't arrested the many quack prophets spreading demented deceptions and shameless lies that they package as prophecies? Yes, persons who break the law must be arrested and prosecuted, but it's a shame and waste of resources arresting a person for merely making claims that are harmless and have not been shown to have broken any law. If the Police can release information about Ebo Noah's arrest and prosecution, why not also state what law the man broke?
