An ordinance marriage from a foreign country is certainly recognized by Ghanaian law, however, you will have to present an original marriage certificate that is 1. Stamped by the the relevant regustry in that country, and 2. Stamped by the Ghana consulate for that country. According to this story, she failed to produce an original certificate with these stamps, but rather, a copy. That is why her claimed german marriage has not been recognized. If she produces the required documents in the required way, she will be by law, the only wife, as it would be an ordinance marriage, which by law is monogamous. If she cant produce the documents as specified, then she will be one of Lumba's two wives by traditional Ghanaian marriage.

My people, it is now 2026, and DL is gone. After all we endured from the summer of 2025 through the fall and winter of that same year, it is time for us to breathe and allow ourselves some rest. There comes a point where emotion must give way to reason. Common sense tells us who stood with DL as his wife in life. Now that he has passed, it is troubling to see a so-called legal wife, absent from his life for nearly two decades, emerge only to lay claim to property. If there was indeed a valid marriage between the deceased and Akosua, then justice and fairness demand that it be addressed in Europe, where it belongs, and not in Ghana.

The question is why? Because there is information that Akosua Serwaa knows that she committed fraud, so if she goes to German court, she might end up in jail..from reliable sources, whiles she was married to Schnidler, she came to Ghana secretly to marry lumba customary which the German embassy and the court system don’t even know..so if she goes back to German court, they will find out all this truth whoch will land her in trouble..I have been asking team legal wives why they can’t send the case to German court..bro as for Ghana, they should forget because it’s not only marriage certificate, there was no marriage as certificate is not the only means of marriage..there was abandonment which makes the marriage void..

Ghanaians are really tired of this irresponsible wife of late Daddy Lumba. This was and is interested in Daddy Lumba properties. Husbands don't marry rings and certificates but total commitment from their wives.Akosua Serwaa abandoned her marriage for almost 2 decades till Daddy Lumba died. She has now resurface to claim to be the only wife.Thats nonsense. Her useless appeal must be thrown into the gutters. A widow having Rally when you should be grieving your dead husband. This is shameful and disgusting to say the least. Men and husbands are wiser now to some of these irresponsible and disrespectful wives in the name of having a marriage certificates to abandon their husbands and marriage. But surprisingly resurface after the death of the husband to claim to be the only legal wife to claim the man's properties. That era is gone forever and ever.
