The key is to have a right balance between church, family and work. Each activity has its time and place. When it is time for church or church activities, you don't make excuses and use that time for family activities or business meetings. Likewise, when it is time for family activities, you don't make excuses and use that time for church or business activities. When its time for work too, the same rule should apply with respect to the other activities. If your work and family becomes more important than church, when your children reach their teens and start taking drugs and mocking the things of God, and want nothing to do with church, don't ask God why.

The operating word should be "balance". No church meets 24/7.
If its time to go to church, we go to church, and if its time to go to work or stay with family we do.
How many times in a week do we go to church and how long does the service last? 3 hours maximum on Sundays.
Apart from church staff who go to church everyday because they are going to work and probably stay on for evening services if any, all church members go to church and stay for only 2 or 3 hours.
