  It depends on the type of snake and how long it took to get her to the hospital. I believe specific anti-venoms are meant for specific snakes. If the right treatment is not administered, it might not work. Besides, not all ...

  It depends on the type of snake and how long it took to get her to the hospital. I believe specific anti-venoms are meant for specific snakes. If the right treatment is not administered, it might not work. Besides, not all snakes are poisonous. Either your sister received the right medication or the bite wasn't venomous. Some venomous snakes also give dry bites, which are without venoms and so won't be deadly.
