  This " ONE WEEK " observation of funerals and the subsequent donations is nonsense. In those days, that occasion was meant for family gathering and to announce the funeral date set by the family. It was an occasion to mourn with the family, express condolences, and know the date of the actual funeral. A little bit of drinks are served, and that was all. BUT now, 1 week observation has become funeral itself. Live bands are invited, donations are made, people line up to get food and sometimes, they even fight for food. What kind of society are we building? These days, you don't even see the grief, the sadness, the sympathy, the emotional feeling of the people. Rather, it's about fashion and money... who has the best dress, who has the best outfit, who donated thousands and millions that day. Have we deviated from our senses? It's so sad that funerals have now turned into parties and fashion shows.
