Aboagye's NPP officials are said to have mismanaged the sector, looted funds, gave road contracts to party activists at uncompetitive prices. They took dollars and promised to pay back with cocoa seedlings. This never happened. The debt now hangs on the neck of the current cocoa board. Aboagye and his henchmen were therefore instrumental in creating a huge debt for the country to pay. Today, this same Aboagye is going round telling the world that farmers had been short-changed. You see, it's better to investigate the rot, arrest the perpetrators and hold them to account. It is only then that Aboagye will shut up his lousy mouth.

JDM is still holding on the belief that Ghanaians have short memories so he can say whatever he likes and get away with it. Miracles is hammering on what ndc members said while in opposition and reminding the gov't what they said they would do if they come to power. The gov't has overlooked what they promised Ghanaians. Galamsey fight, price of cocoa, ORAL, 24-hour economy, nkoko nketenkete etc are not being felt on the ground in the 2nd year of his term. The gov't popularity is dwindling day in day out as no flagship program has been implemented.
