You can burry any relative in your house but there is a procedure you have to follow

1. You have to seek the concent and approval of the traditional authority first (they take some money)

2. You have to apply to the Assembly for their approval (Assembly will ask you if you have seen the traditional authority)

3. The Assembly will send their Environmental officers to come to your house and inspect the location if it's not close to any water body

4. Depending on the report from the Environmental officers the Assembly will either or not grant the permit for the burial.

Please note that if you start from the Assembly they will ask you to see the traditional authorities for their approval first.

If the family didn't consult the traditional authority as the letter shows then they eared and must therefore go there with an apology and accept to pay any fines that may be imposed
