A Plus (L) has advised Kofi Owusu Aduonum (R) to keep his marital affairs private
Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus, has offered advice to Kofi Owusu Aduonum, the husband of singathon contender Afua Asantewaa.
During a discussion on United Showbiz aired on April 11, 2026, A-Plus stated that it was unnecessary for Kofi Aduonum to publicly address his marital issues on national television.
According to A-Plus, Kofi Owusu Aduonum should resolve his marital challenges privately rather than seeking public sympathy.

“I want to ask you whether UTV personally invited you, or if you decided to come on air and talk about your problems. What I will tell you is that there are issues in every marriage.
“We are all going through challenges in our marriages, so since you claim you have resolved your differences, I would advise you to handle such matters privately. I don’t even understand your explanation,” he said.
A-Plus further noted that Aduonum’s explanation on national television could expose him to public ridicule.

“From the way you are explaining yourself, it doesn’t make sense. You have children with her, so it is very unnecessary for you to come on TV to explain yourself. It is normal for issues to arise in every marriage.
“You have now given people the chance to mock you on the internet because many bloggers profit from such situations. Social media and television don’t love you as much as you think,” he added.
