Kwesi Ernest called on Ghanaians to show unwavering support to Camidoh
Renowned Ghanaian music producer and artiste manager, Kwesi Ernest, has made a passionate appeal to musician Camidoh to regroup and make a strong return to the music scene, while urging Ghanaians to rally behind him.
Speaking on Onua Show Time on April 15, 2026, Kwesi Ernest emphasized the need for the singer to focus on self-discovery and healing as he navigates his current challenges.
According to him, Camidoh remains one of Ghana’s brightest talents and should not be overlooked despite his recent low profile.
He recalled the singer’s massive impact in recent years, especially during the Telecel Ghana Music Awards period.
“I want him to put himself together as a man and heal from whatever made him decide to go on break. He should be able to discover himself as Camidoh. If we are to talk about TGMAs, Camidoh was a big issue surrounding TGMAs two to three years ago,” he said.
Kwesi Ernest highlighted Camidoh’s impressive digital numbers as proof of his influence, noting that the hit song Sugarcane achieved over 1.5 million streams on Spotify and about 145 million views on YouTube.

He further called on Ghanaians to show unwavering support to the artiste, stressing that Camidoh carries great potential and represents the country on a global stage.
“If you check his Spotify streams, he made more than 1.5 million with `Sugarcane’ and he made 145 million streams on YouTube. Ghanaians should lift him high and give him all the support he needs. He carries a huge blessing,” he stated.
He continued, “Whatever challenge he is facing, be it financial or about management, we need to have Camidoh return to scale. We need to help him because he’s a big deal. He should deeply think about his plans and know who he truly is so that he would make the world and Ghana proud.”
Kwesi Ernest also advised the singer to stay away from anything that could derail his career, including bad influences and harmful habits.
He further assured the artiste that the country is ready to support him in any way possible, even financially, to help him get back on his feet.
“Camidoh, whatever that is tearing you apart, if it’s bad company, stay away from it. If it’s drinks or drugs, stay away because you’re holding the Ghana flag. Whatever you need, even if it’s money, Ghana will support you,” he added.
