'We have smoked the peace pipe!' - Afua Asantewaa, husband reconcile

A video capturing Ghanaian media personality and two-time Guinness World Record singathon contender Afua Asantewaa and her husband, Kofi Owusu Aduonum, has gone viral after the couple appeared to have reconciled following weeks of public marital drama.

The video, shared on April 20, 2026, shows the pair cheerfully dancing to a TikTok trend, with Afua captioning it: "WE'VE SMOKED A PEACE PIPE… BESTIE 4 LYFE."

She added, "When there's love at home, there is joy in every sound. Peace and plenty here abide… FORGIVENESS BREEDS PEACE."

The reconciliation video comes a week after Kofi Owusu Aduonum appeared on UTV's United Showbiz on April 12 to announce that they had met and were on good terms.

The brouhaha began on April 1, 2026, when Afua Asantewaa used a TikTok live session to confirm she and her husband had been separated for months following her relocation to Canada with their children in 2025.

This led to massive speculations on social media as well as allegations made online by Afua Asantewaa herself. Two weeks later, the couple seemed to have reconciled.
