  This Minister is not performing well. She sees her job as sending people to the airport to dance for Diasporas arriving in Accra. There is a lot that could be done to boost tourism in the country but the sector Minister is sleeping on the job. For example, Ghana could be advertised globally as a country in Sub-Saharan Africa with the best variety of food. A country to travel to for culinary experience. I have traveled across Africa and I can say with confidence that Ghanaian traditional dishes are the best. This is something which an active tourist ministry could capitalize on but unfortunately, the ministry is sleeping. Furthermore, the Independence Arc and it's environs could be upgraded to a beautiful tourist site with flowers, water fountains, etc an iconic place to visit when in Ghana. Unfortunately, the place is currently not looking attractive. It looks dilapidated. A tourist minister should be someone who is business minded because the tourist industry is all about generating financial resources to the state by exposing our country to the outside world but also to the citizens within.
