Business mogul and philanthropist Richard Nii Armah Quaye (RNAQ) has honoured his promise to donate GH¢100,000 to Hiplife legend Okyeame Kwame in support of promoting his new song ‘Clap.’

In a video shared on Okyeame Kwame’s page on May 3, 2026, RNAQ explained that his decision to support the song was driven by its message.

According to him, the lyrics reflect his belief that Ghanaians should succeed in their respective endeavours and celebrate one another, which is why he wants the song to reach a wide audience across the country.

“I sincerely do believe that our country must thrive. We are not going to rely only on our political leaders to develop our country. Never. Everybody must win. Everybody must contribute. So when somebody loses in Ghana, regardless of where the person is living in this country, his losses will affect me and affect you.

“And you see, that is why when you release your song and I listen to the lyrics, I’m like, wow. And so I love the music. I love it so much because of the message it has. So God bless you. The support I am giving you, I want you to use it to promote the music,” RNAQ said.

The pledge was made in April 2026 after the musician shared a reaction video online, where RNAQ commented, “Love this song and the lyrics. I want to support its promotion with GH¢100,000. Well done.”

Okyeame Kwame released the rhythmic reggae tune “Clap” to mark his 50th birthday.

The song focuses on the importance of applauding individuals who are making meaningful contributions to society, while encouraging people to celebrate the successes of friends and family.

The milestone birthday was marked with a successful all-white celebration at Plus 233 Pub and Grill, where performances added to the memorable occasion.
