Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has launched a fierce attack on music executive George Britton, accusing him of clout-chasing and using his name for attention on social media.

Speaking during a TikTok Live session on May 7, 2026, Shatta Wale fired shots at George Britton, stating that if life in Ghana was good for him, he would not have relocated to the UK to start life afresh and later turn to advise him on how to manage his career.

“If life were really good for you, you wouldn’t relocate to the UK. You would have used about $5,000 to register a company there, you wouldn’t have gone to start life afresh abroad, and now you want to come and advise me,” Shatta Wale said.

The dancehall artiste also questioned why George Britton shared a video promoting his music on social media while asking fans to identify what was written on his shirt in order to win money.

According to Shatta Wale, he never requested help from George Britton to promote his music and found the move unnecessary.

“I’ve posted my music. The same mistake you made years ago is the same mistake you’re still making. I’ve posted my music, I haven’t asked you for help. You just come to post my video and now you’re asking people what is written on my shirt so they can win money. Have I asked you to do something for me?” Wale questioned.

The Shatta Movement boss further claimed that George Britton was trying to use his name to gain traction on social media because of his strong online influence and fanbase, something Shatta Wale described as “nonsense attention-seeking.”

“You know I don’t like you. If you want traction on the internet, you’ve already used traditional media and it didn’t help you. Now you want to use social media because you know Shatta has captured social media, so if you use him and mention his name, people will come and comment.

“Lots of people have done that, and they are not even on my level because all that is nonsense attention-seeking,” he added.
