Ghanaian rapper Medikal has emerged winner of the Best Hiplife Song of the Year award at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards 2026 with his hit song Shoulder.
The award-winning track, which features Shatta Wale and Beeztrap KOTM, was one of the most popular hiplife songs released during the year under review and enjoyed massive airplay across the country.
Medikal beat stiff competition from Fameye featuring Medikal with 'Habit', Ko-Jo Cue featuring AratheJay and Ofori Amponsah with 'Tontonte', Kojo Blak featuring Sarkodie with 'Next Door', Sarkodie featuring Kweku Flick with 'Messiah', and Kwesi Amewuga with 'Badness' to claim the award.
