Actress and media personality, Akua Manfo
Ghanaian actress and media personality Akua Manfo has taken to social media to express frustration following what she described as a disappointing experience with a mechanic in Ghana.
In a Facebook post that has since sparked reactions online, the actress recounted how her car reportedly broke down two days earlier, forcing her to leave it in the care of a roadside mechanic.
According to her, she was later informed that the vehicle had been repaired, prompting her to pick it up.

However, Akua Manfo claimed that less than five minutes into her journey, the car developed another fault and stopped moving again.
She explained that she immediately contacted a man identified as Ebo, who had handled the arrangement, but despite assurances that the mechanic would return to assist her, no help arrived.
The actress further noted that repeated calls to Ebo went unanswered while attempts by another individual to help also proved unsuccessful.
Out of frustration, she said she decided to leave the vehicle outside a police station, only to be told by officers that the car could still be broken into despite being parked near the station.
Clearly upset by the incident, Akua Manfo took to social media to vent.
She claimed that many of her experiences with Ghanaians have been more negative than positive, adding that situations like this often leave her emotionally drained.
She also humorously remarked that having a husband or living with her sons would likely spare her from constantly dealing with car troubles and dishonest individuals on her own.
The post has since generated mixed reactions on social media, with some users sympathizing with her ordeal while others criticised her comments generalising Ghanaians as dishonest.
