Keche Joshua says he earned GH¢80,000 for cameo in Pappy Kojo's 'Customer' music video
Two musicians, Pappy Kojo and Keche Joshua, who have been at odds on social media for a couple of years, have recently crossed paths professionally, as Keche Joshua made a cameo appearance in Pappy Kojo’s newly released music video for “Customer.”
In an interview on MX24 TV, Joshua explained that although he had previously been at loggerheads with Pappy Kojo, he accepted the appearance as part of work, disclosing that he was paid GH¢80,000 for the cameo in the “Customer” music video.
According to him, after shooting his part in the video, there was no interaction between himself and Pappy as he left immediately since it was strictly business.
“I was paid GH¢80,000. So when I finished my part, I just left. I didn’t even talk to him; I was just there for business,” he said.
Keche also shared their views on the kind of music they prefer to create, noting that they do not enjoy making songs that are difficult for fans to sing along to, sometimes taking weeks for listeners to learn.
According to the duo, there is already a lot of pressure in the country, and people are preoccupied with different challenges, so musicians should aim to keep their music simple and easy for fans to enjoy and sing along to.

“If you are a musician and you’re doing it for the people all the time, just get them something very simple for them to sing along,” the duo stated.
As an example, Keche mentioned Joey B’s new song “News at 7,” describing it as a great song with a great storyline, which he personally loves, although he admitted he is still struggling to learn the lyrics properly.
