'I have been on this earth before' - Pascaline Edwards on reincarnation

Ghanaian actress Pascaline Edwards has opened up about her childhood, describing it as marked by experiences she could not explain.

She revealed that from a very young age, she could see things that nobody around her could.

Speaking in an interview with ZionFelix on YouTube, the actress said she knew early on that she was different, and that those around her also noticed it.

“Sometimes when a child is born, people say she’s reincarnated or acting like an elderly person because of how she behaves, acts, and talks. That is me. I’m an old soul and I have been on this earth before,” she said.

She recalled specific childhood moments that frightened her friends, even though she did not initially understand why.

“I could be walking with my friends and then I could see people coming towards us. Because I didn’t know who I really was, I assumed my friends were seeing what I was seeing. I later came to realise I was the only one seeing it,” she explained.

Rather than receiving support, she said she was often silenced by adults who found her accounts disturbing.

“If I said I was seeing something, people shut me up and told me kids don’t say such things. Eventually I grew up seeing but not talking,” she said.

She added that she later sought answers from religious leaders but remained unconvinced by their explanations.

“I wanted to find out why I was seeing things that people weren’t, so I spoke to some pastors. But usually, with the explanations they give, I tell them it’s not so. It became like a challenge,” she added.
